You might have seen my post from a few weeks ago on my new workshop. Well, it is with mixed feelings today that I am officially closing down the Logan Cabinet Shoppe. This will be my official last blog post under that name. However, I don’t plan to disappear and stop blogging altogether. More on that in a minute.

Recently, my family and I have made the decision to pull up our roots and make a permanent move from Logan Township, NJ to southwest VA. It is somewhat bittersweet, because we have put so much work into our current home, and made so many great friends here, but we know that this is the best thing for our family going forward.

The official move will take place at the end of June, however, we have already started the process. Over Memorial weekend, I disassembled…

What a beauty that workbench is! Have any picts of yours?
It hasn’t been in the cards so far, but I’ve been dreaming of building myself a proper one, with all the trims, for years. It’ll be epic when I do, as is everything one crafts for oneself. 🙂 It’ll require new amenities around it though, as both my workshops of the last 10+ years were/are complete hacks (to the tune of hand digging one from a 4 foot crawl space, with no concrete slab…) All in due time.
